Intel Ebola Commercial

Meet Ken Krieger and the makers behind Project Buendia. They created an Ebola-proof tablet and server with Intel Edison technology to help fight the Ebola outbreak — they did in two months when it would normally take two years — because they were racing against time. More information on Intel’s efforts can be found here.

I had the opportunity to score the music for this commercial for Intel. The music followed an arc split into three acts: presenting the problem, describing the solution, then wrapping it up. Special thanks to Jordan Passman, Jake Weinreb, Danny Joseph, and the entire team of creatives who worked on this exemplary piece. It’s a real pleasure to work on projects where every member of the team is excellent at what they do and is free to do their job best. The writers and directors of this video spent countless hours working to do it right, and it shows.

I applaud @NI_News for this open community update on their current product line and roadmap for the future. As someone who uses Kontakt on a daily basis, this is really exciting:

Curious to see where this ends up. Desert island selection, and you can only listen to one, and the other doesn’t exist:

Some wonderful moments from @eltonofficial and Bernie Taupin receiving the #GershwinPrize this week. Fantastic performances from @Metallica, @brandicarlile, @charlieputh, @jonimitchell, and more.
