The Ultimate Guide to a Multi-Computer Kontakt Composer Setup
I got an overwhelming response to my long-form video called Orchestration Secrets from Star Wars, in which I methodically sequenced the first two pages of the Star Wars suite by John Williams into the computer using my large orchestral template. Many of the questions I received related to my setup and how I had such a large orchestra at my fingertips.
In response to those questions, I made a new video which talks about the technical details behind my setup, including how Kontakt and Vienna Ensemble Pro work together, how the computers were built, configured, and connected, and how any composer who wants a similar setup can acquire one.
Help: trying to resuscitate a 2011-era MacBook Air. Charger shows green. Hitting the power button shows minimal charge. Already tried resetting PMC and PRAM. What else is there to do?
