Shadow Hands Bruce Hornsby

Bruce Hornsby tribute album for charity

I had the privilege of contributing to a Bruce Hornsby tribute album entitled Shadow Hands, a collaborative project with proceeds going to various charities, including Everyman (funding research to find solutions to male cancer), the NSPCC (for abused children), and the ALSA (fighting Lou Gehrig’s disease). Along with my friends, ace vocalist Seth Fickett and bassist Chris Kent, I arranged and produced a cover version of Bruce’s beautiful ballad The River Runs Low.

The song is available to listen to here, and ongoing projects to support the charities involved continue at this site.

An important career PSA for my fellow musicians: tell people about your passions. Tell people about your goals. Do not be shy about the gigs you dream about. You never know who has the ability to put you on a path that accomplishes them, if they were made aware.

I'm just saying, the incredibly useful Recut video cutting tool is on sale today. This has saved me untold hours of tedious manual labor:

This video is a masterclass in taking "I don't have any inside info, but the next Mac will be faster and have more cores" and stretching it to 11 minutes.
