Funny or Die How a Bill Becomes a Law

Funny or Die: How a Bill Becomes a Law

I had a blast producing and mixing the music for this new Funny or Die spoof of an old Schoolhouse Rock song/skit on How a Bill Becomes a Law: Trumpcare Edition.

For this project, we were specifically trying to re-create the 70’s vibe of the original (witness the 4:3 aspect ratio). So in came 70’s drum mic’ing, an acoustic driving rhythm guitar, and a barebones electric guitar playing a cheesy riff. There are many more tiny subtleties in this skit, but I’ll leave them for you to discover.

Quincy Jones, one of the most powerful forces in American popular music for more than half a century, died at 91. He produced Michael Jackson’s "Thriller," the best-selling album of all time, and was a prolific arranger and composer of film music. https://nyti.ms/3AuTahh

Gotta say, that new Mac mini looks amazing. It’s a pro machine. The only thing keeping me from the temptation of buying it is that the Mac Studio is due for a refresh soon, and of course, will leapfrog the Mini when it does.
