MOTU Clinic on Modern Music Production

At the 2015 Winter NAMM trade show in Anaheim, CA, I gave a presentation on modern music production techniques for MOTU, makers of the digital audio workstation Digital Performer, MachFive, numerous high-end audio and MIDI interfaces, and more. In the thirty-minute clinic, I showed an actual session I worked on, a song I co-wrote and produced for Rachael Yamagata. More details on this song are published here. Over the course of thirty-minutes, I break down the song and reassemble it, part by part, demonstrating the compositional, editing, mixing, and production techniques that brought it together.

Why this rush towards abolishing the daylight savings time? Keep the time changes. More of our day in sunlight = less energy usage, more safety, less crime. What’s the downside? Just inconvenience?

I hate that everything is being labeled AI nowadays, when it's just fancy algorithms. My new toaster oven is also "AI" but it browns the bread and has some sensors in it. Just like the old ones did.
